Announcing our NEW Design Team!

I decided to run the design team for SG a little differently than other companies this time.

We do not accept submissions or run an open call.

Rather, the entire year I conduct what I like to call my open casting call, with the wide open space of the internet as the stage. Searching for the perfect person to extend an invitation to. I like to hop from blog to blog and see new faces paired with a fresh point of view.

I am often asked, what it takes. A list of characteristics comes to mind...

Unique, fresh, independent, warm, kind, positive, passionate, true and real

This lady I am about to announce to you embody all of these things and I am honored to have them as part of the SG family.

Everyone who knows me is familiar with my compassion for not only paper & ink, but people. I think of this lady is an extension of myself as a business women, an artist and friend. We openly exchange ideas & thoughts, all for one purpose. To benefit the loyal customers of SG. I know you will love getting to know her as much as I have. Please be sure to stop by each of her blogs today and give them a warm welcome to their new home!

Liza Yet

Liza Yet first caught my attention when i get to know her from a forum . She truly has her own style that is all her own and I find it quite inspiring. She expresses her unique point-of-view with color and combinations that are a refreshing break from the norm. She is an extremely warm person and a pleasure to speak with. I know you will love finding ways to utilize her ideas in your own projects. You can view her other personal touch at http://lizayet.typepad.com/

1.How would you describe your scrapbooking style?
I enjoy trying out new styles and trends, but always make sure to stay true to my own unique style. I love and focus on doing multi photos layouts as they represent the memories and has the "telling the story" elements. Depending on the look I am going for, my designs range from shabby chic to fun and vibrant. Techniques I use frequently include: inking, distressing, stamping, orginial scrapbook layouts, altered items, the use of other embellishments, ribbons and laces.

2. What inspires you?
Actually I'm always inspired by anything that is associated to scrapbooking! The photos, the lovely patterned papers, the beautiful embellishments, all the different wonderful techniques!

3. What about SG excites you and why do you enjoy using our products?
SG and I share a common aim which is to "preserve a lifetime of memories". Its because of this that i started this hobby in the 1st place. I want to capture and document every moment of my son's growing up journey. I also hope to make new fellow scrapbooker friends in SG!
SG carries great SB branded products at affordable prices! I also love SG's kits as they are all well thought of and everything is well co-ordinated. The classes taught at SG are very unique too!

This is Liza's latest LO...using SG's very own Luxe.
